We have a new opportunity for a Sales Administrator vacancy to join our friendly dedicated office team with additional office management and P.A. duties.
First and foremost, you will be on the front line dealing with in bound calls from customers and suppliers. The office is also a hub for direction for internal departments, which means we need only candidates to apply who are solution results driven and able to provide clarity and clear direction.
In addition to this you will support the Director in the day to day running of the office and act as a first point of contact for the administration team with matters such as booking annual leave.
This role will also provide a level of P.A. support to the Director inclusive of diary management and work closely with multiple departments across the business. This role is diverse; tasked with answering the telephone, being the first port of call for many clients and suppliers, responding to emails, inputting sales orders and filtering them to the relevant departments, compiling driver loading sheets (fabulous if you have good geographical knowledge of the UK), filing and sharing instructions and information in a detailed succinct manner.
There are systems and procedures to follow that once learned become second nature. Sage training is also provided to input customer invoices.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, adaptable and competent copy typist, computer literate and familiar with Microsoft word, and excel with a keen sharp eye for detail. You will have to be a proactive team player who thrives in a busy office environment. In time it is important to stive for getting things right first time however never afraid to ask questions if in doubt.

You will need to be able to react quickly, think on your feet and be an effective problem solver. Your telephone manner will need to be clear, warm and helpful as you will be dealing with our varied customer base – large corporate customers to smaller independents all of whom we deliver a very personal tailored service.
