Position Summary
The Memory division are responsible for the UK with sales team members supporting specific channels – Retail, Pure Play, B2B, Distribution. We are a small team working closely to target sales of our 4 core product categories – Internal SSD, Portable SSD, Memory cards and USB Flash Drives.
Leading the market with flash technology based products we have an established B2B reseller & PC Manufacturer base and are looking for someone to manage this and develop new partners to join our partner programme.
Our strategy is to provide best in class products from the world’s largest Flash memory manufacturer Samsung, driving market share and creating growth sales channels.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of our B2B Reseller, VAR and Pc Builder sales across the UK & Ireland, you key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for our 25+ Managed Reseller/VAR/PC Builder partners including all commercial management, quarterly targets, legal agreements and tracking progress. Developing new business from within our unmanaged base responsible for our B2B sales build process
- To achieve sales revenue targets of around £10m+ per annum
- Development of B2B Sales channels via UK Distribution and ensure best practice
- Driving sell in and out of complete range of SSD, Portable SSD, memory card and USB products
- To pro-actively manage Major Tier 2 Named Partners administration (sales out reporting & analysis, forecasting, training and call out days)
- Support Samsung One B2B sales portal and development of services for resellers through the portal (launching 2023)
- Delivery of product presentations to key decision makers within nominated accounts
- Organisation of trade shows and B2B events as required
- Management of Marketing budgets for Tier 2 Named Partners with quarterly/six monthly plans
- Commercial Management - B2B bid process and forecasting to support timely supply for projects, Tier 2 Named partners commercial terms, track market pricing of our competitors
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Ability to demonstrate sales experience preferably IT Hardware/Components/Storage
- Good understanding of UK Distribution channel
- Ideally have current sales experience working with resellers such as Insight, CDW, Softcat, Computercentre , PC Manufacturers
- Excellent listening skills
- Office skills – Powerpoint and Advanced Excel
- Targets and results driven
- Full UK Driving License

- Proficient to advanced level with Excel and all office
- Demonstrated experience in managing forecasts, sales reports, PSI stock and sales analysis, commercial proposals and return on investment analysis

- Presentation brief will be issued for Stage 2 panel interview which will include a business case example
