Senior Health Care Assistant Job at Tralee Ltd.
e are currently looking for day senior health care assistant to provide high quality care to the elderly in a residential home setting.
Experience is a must for this post.
Based in Whitstable
Hours available are 24-48 hours . plus overtime
The ideal candidate will already have some experience in senior care role, flexible, punctual, caring, polite and has well rounded communication skills.
Scope·
To assess, plan, implement and monitor the care of all service users, subject to Company policies and agreed procedures and to lead and participate in the provision of a high standard of care.·
To have responsibility when on duty to liaise with the family, social worker, General Practitioner and District Nurse regarding the client.·
To participate in the Key Worker Programme.·
To order and administer oral medication to service users as required following the administration of medicines policy.· Daily entries in Care Plans. Also evaluation of Care Plans when required.·
To work with your Care Team to ensure high standards of care is delivered to all Service Users.· To participate in the on call duty rota·
Skills/ Qualification:
· NVQ level 3 or higher
