Senior Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the planning and management of resource within a Production unit;
• Responsible for Production Unit, Health, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost;
• To successfully achieve product output to the satisfaction of the customer, in terms of on time delivery and quality,

• Liaison with support functions to ensure the objectives of the Production Unit are met;
• To promote and develop a culture of Continuous Improvement & Inclusion, ensuring best practice is considered and adopted in all Production Unit activities

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred education to HND or Degree level in Engineering or Business Management or the ability to

• Previous experience on a similar position;
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes;
• Experience of managing people;
• Ability to develop and encourage teams - coaching and directing;
• Specialized or cross-functional knowledge/experience required:
• Decision making on manpower planning, training & competency development, leave, annualized

• Cost control to keep within budget/contract i.e. controllable overheads, consumables & direct

• Leadership of Continuous Improvement within the Production Unit.
• Language skills: English at advanced/business fluent level is mandatory
