Senior Programme Manager- Life Time Support

Responsible for leading and managing a high profile and high impact program of multiple projects to deliver the agreed scope within planned quality, time and cost parameters to satisfy the specified requirements and drive for customer and stakeholder satisfaction. Motivating the whole team to deliver the business case and margins expected.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver program to agreed time, cost, quality and benefits parameters.
  • Lead and motivate the cross functional program team- coaching and mentoring experience is desired
  • Organise, coordinate, and lead the program throughout the product lifecycle from bid to execution.
  • Lead by example demonstrating transparency and open communication with all cross functional team members. Consolidating and presenting program status to Senior Stakeholders
  • Lead the project managers planning efforts and resolve resource conflicts across projects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customer personnel
  • Co-operate with management to meet the employer’s legal duties and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
  • Integrate the reporting for the program across all the projects making best use of available PMO capabilities
  • Integrate the outputs from the projects turning the capabilities into the required outcomes for the stakeholders
  • Set up and operate the governance for the program.


Qualifications

Experience Required


  • Qualified to deliver high profile and high impact programs
  • Degree plus experience of managing projects throughout the full lifecycle
  • Experience of managing at least three programs ideally in the aerospace, engineering or technology sectors, with a proven delivery track record
  • Strong knowledge of the functional disciplines including the end to end supply chain
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of PPM competencies tools and techniques
