About
the
Role:
You’ll join our team contributing towards the successful delivery of the Team ARU strategy – our plan to significantly increase the number of people engaged in sport, recreation and wellbeing activities over the next 5 years. We are seeking to recruit a resourceful individual with a proactive approach to join our sports participation team. You will organise and deliver the Campus Sport programme of activities in Cambridge, which are designed to increase participation in physical and recreational activities amongst staff and students, including those who are currently inactive. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students who are involved in sport, you will need to possess a passion for sport and excellent customer service.
You will have a degree, or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level, or appropriate experience. You will have a positive impact on student employability as you will recruit, supervise and engage a team of student sport activators who deliver and support the promotion of the campus sport programme. sport and physical activity. Knowledge of the Higher Education sector sport sector and of the various structures and organisations involved in sport in this country is essential for this role.
