WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Sustainability Executive, you will be responsible for developing, evolving, and supporting the delivery of Santander’s ESG Data Programme. You will support the delivery of the Sustainability and Responsible Banking activities across the business areas.

You will also measure, evaluate, and optimise the effectiveness of Sustainability and Responsible Banking programmes and activities.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Leading on the collection of data/KPIs to feed into sustainability reports, working across business functions and ensuring accuracy and consistency of the data/information

  • Contributing to evolving the Sustainability & Responsible Banking agenda driving change and evolving programmes and initiatives in line with the new strategy

  • Coordinating internal stakeholders to drive the delivery of our ESG Data programmes ensuring these deliver against the company’s targets and ambition

  • Supporting the delivery of Sustainability and ESG reporting, including the annual sustainability report (ESG Supplement) and annual report content, ensuring compliance with best-in-class reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. GRI, SASB).

  • Supporting the delivery of high quality, high impact sustainability activities that contribute toward the agreed Sustainability & Responsible Banking objectives and targets

  • Supporting the delivery of the bank’s social and cultural agenda, including social mobility, financial empowerment, and employee engagement with communities.

What you’ll bring.

  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build relationships and gain engagement across management level.

  • Able to provide working knowledge of ESG data.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience of working with ESG data platforms would be beneficial in the role.

  • Innovative, and proactive with the confidence to put forward new ideas.

  • Strong organisational skills.

What else you need to know.

The role is currently hybrid based where you will be required to work 2 days per week in our Head Office location in Milton Keynes.

This is a permanent position.
