We’re on the lookout for two experienced Team Leaders to support the Shift Manager in managing our AM & PM shift at our pioneering electrical recycling site based in Elland, West Yorkshire.

Areera is a cutting-edge TV recycling facility located just off junction 24 of the M62 near Huddersfield between Elland and Brighouse, we're growing rapidly and can offer you the opportunity to learn new skills in a unique industry, the chance to progress your career, as well as a salary of up to £26000 dependent on experience. The PM shift also receive a 5% shift allowance.

We're looking for experienced and ambitious Team Leaders, who will lead their teams to maximise productivity, ensure that all site processes are carried out to agreed standards of quality and efficiency all of which significantly reduces the UK's carbon emissions.

AREERA joined the Buy It Direct Group in 2021 to strengthen the company’s recycling capabilities, we are the only company in Europe that recycles screen-based devices like TVs, and monitors using artificial intelligence and x-rays. Our advance methods are 10 to 20 times more efficient than manual processes, allowing us to safely separate plastics, liquid crystals, and hazardous substances with ease. • 
  Motivate your team to maximise productivity.
• Carrying out regular site walk arounds to make sure processes are being followed.
• Carrying out daily shift briefings
• Increase productivity by effective training and management of you team
• Measure productivity and ensure KPIs are met
• Ensure high standards of production discipline are maintained
• Deliver training, coaching and support to the team
• Maintaining a safe working environment.
• You will be report to the Shift Manager but take responsibility of the site in their absence

About You

You must be a hands on manager and able to demonstrate your leadership and interpersonal skills.
