Hybrid working with base location as either Edinburgh or Widnes

In a nutshell

The Test Analyst will deliver test preparation and test execution activities for defined pieces of work. Typical test activities include analysis of requirements, designing test cases and scripts, test execution, raising defects and production of testing user guides as required.

What you need to do

• Work with business and IT to understand requirements and design
• Create test scripts for projects and maintain test script inventories
• Create required data for test scripts
• Support Test Analysts with estimation work
• Creates Test plans, Test Completion reports and associated artefacts for small projects or initiatives
• Execute test scripts to support both SIT and UAT ensuring IT & business requirements are fully tested prior to go live
• Apply updates to test tracking systems to ensure test plans can be tracked
• Raises incidents/defects during execution and suggests appropriate actions.

• Provide updates to Senior Test Analysts, Test Leads and where applicable wider Test team on progress

What you need to know and show

• Has awareness of project delivery lifecycle and SDLC
• Has technical and analytical aptitude
• Looking to upskill and gain further experience in the field of testing
• Has strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Works well in a team environment developing and maintain effective working relationships
