Spire Manchester are now recruiting an Theatre HCA to join their warm and friendly team

Spire Manchester Hospital is a brand new, £65m state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering patients a wide range of integrated surgical, medical and diagnostic services. The rapidly expanding team in Manchester consists of over 500 colleagues, who thrive in the welcoming atmosphere that is friendly, supportive and progressive

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a range of support services to the Nurses and Consultants during procedures including:
• Supporting scrub nurses during procedures within Theatre
• Provide patient support within the anesthetic room
• Opening sterile packs/consumables/instruments
• Checking instruments against a template sheet
• Assisting with ordering equipment/re-stocking, unpacking deliveries
• Maintenance of quality care delivery
• Understanding and contributing towards infection control

Who we're looking for:

• Ideally you will have worked as a HCA with Theatres
• Someone who excels in working as part of a great team
• The flexibility to work a range of shifts on our rota
• Someone who is keen to learn and develop as genuine career progression is available
