Therapy Technical Instructor Job at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust
We have an exciting opportunity for a band 3 Therapy Technical Instructor to work within Therapy services. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and enthusiastic seeking an opportunity to work within one of the following teams:
- Front of House / Frailty
- Elderly / Medicine
Your role will involve working alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists as part of the therapy team supporting with assessment through to a safe and timely discharge from hospital.
Applicants should be able to evidence relevant therapy based competencies (at band 2 or band 3 level within the NHS), to demonstrate the ability to be able to implement prescribed rehabilitation programmes for a range of conditions.
You will receive a robust competency training programme which will be further developed through regular training and supervision sessions with senior members of the team.
You will be required to work a shift pattern between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 and will be expected to participate in 7 day working rotas; including weekend and bank holiday shifts. The post holder must hold a full valid UK driving license and have access to a car for work purposes.
