At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

Honda Motor Europe provides a service to 17 countries across Europe for our Cars, Motorcycles and Power Products. One of our key global objectives is to provide the best customer experience through our dealer networks and this role is at the heart of driving excellence for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
Honda’s Customer Experience Programme covers:
  • Honda Customer Satisfaction Index (H-CSI) measuring in-dealership experience
  • Competitor Customer Satisfaction Index (C-CSI) benchmarking with competitors

The role will support the Customer Experience Manager to:
  • Provide operational support the Supplier and colleagues in the 17 local markets
  • Undertake regular reporting to analyse performance and data trends over time, presenting results to Honda Senior Management on a monthly basis
  • Generate and implement new ideas to solve problems, using PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) as a tool to evaluate success
  • Project activity support to ensure smooth implementation of new initiatives
  • Promote the importance of Customer Experience within the wider Honda organisation, working with internal Sales Departments to increase engagement
  • Present regularly to audiences of different levels and sizes
  • Project manage a research project together with the other department Undergraduates

Qualifications, skills and experience: Required/Desirable
Required

  • Must be an undergraduate, undertaking a business-related degree
  • Organised with ability to multi-task different priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willing to work in a team and with colleagues from other cultures
  • Interest in data analysis

Desirable

  • Proficient in MS Office packages to include PowerPoint and Excel, although training given
  • Experience in a customer focused role
  • Ability and willingness to travel in UK & Europe as required
