The Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) is seeking an exceptional Unit Director to join our busy and successful hospital which is part of the Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) group of 10 Hospitals and Managed Clinical Services. MFT is the largest provider of services in the country, and the MRI is the flagship hospital within the MFT Group providing general and specialist services for the people of Manchester, nationally and internationally. Working within the Group model provides a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills in the vibrant Manchester health & social care setting.

As one of our 8 Unit Directors, you will report into the Director of Operations and lead a triumvirate supported by your Clinical Director and Head of Nursing. Whilst you will work very closely as a senior leadership team, you will be front and centre of the services you lead. You will have plenty of opportunity to ‘make your mark’ as there is scope to do things very differently working as a part of a team of Unit Directors accountable for general and specialist services right across the MRI. The Unit Directors are a close network supported by development and coaching to be the very best that they can be. Interested? Unit Director - Theatres & Elective In-Reach

Do you want to work in one of our most diverse CSU, with opportunity to engage with colleagues across the patient journey and support in transforming our patient flow? Working alongside a fantastic team of clinicians and nurses you will lead our elective services through our theatre complex delivering a full range of elective, non-elective and major trauma services. You will also be at the forefront of our pre-admission experience working closely with colleagues from all CSUs and Clinical Support Services (CSS) to deliver safe and effective care.
