Fugro are now recruiting a Warehouse Operator to join our busy team in Falmouth. Supporting our warehouse team and other stakeholders you will be responsible for ensuring the handling and storing of our goods and equipment. Ensuring the duties are carried out in a safe and secure way. You will be supporting the warehouse team on various exciting projects.

Who you’ll be working with:
On a daily, basis you will be working with Mobilisation Supervisor, stores team, logistics, workshop teams and project management teams within Falmouth.
Here’s what a typical day would be like:
- Ensuring goods and material receipts are checked and logged in the relevant systems, documents are correct and filed for future reference
- Acting as a point of contact for Fugro staff on any stores, warehouse requirements
- Carry out inventory and stock checks to ensure they match up with company records, carrying out further investigations where needed
- Packing goods and equipment’s for shipments
- Assisting in the safe loading and /unloading of goods and materials
- Attending daily team briefs,
- Ensure that purchasing department and project Management are kept updated on purchased goods arrivals or dispatches.
- Ensure that all warehouse and yard activities are carried out safely and efficiently
Who we’re looking for:
Essential
- Extensive previous relevant warehouse experience
- Excellent numeracy skills
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification
- Experience of using stock control software
Desirable
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck & Electric Pallet Truck certification, or experience.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Programs especially Excel
