The Role:
As West London Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Coordinator, you’ll do vital work for people across the West London sub region, identifying opportunities for additional funding, initiating, developing, and implementing initiatives which prevent and relieve homelessness and rough sleeping. The role also involves the monitoring, review and reporting of performance on a cross-borough basis. You’ll work with the boroughs on joint projects to procure temporary and private rented sector accommodation.
You’ll coordinate the work of the West London Homelessness Group and its subgroups, and work with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders, liaising across a variety of organisations and sectors to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
Most importantly, you’ll put communities first. This role’s key function is to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness, so you’ll use your skills and access resources to increase the supply of accommodation for homeless people across West London.

About You:
You’ll have significant experience of working in homelessness, a good knowledge of homelessness legislation and you will have managed and delivered projects and contracts effectively, with clear targets and outcomes.
An innovative thinker with outcome focused behaviours, you’ll be a true team player capable of building working relationships with stakeholders and partners across the sub region and beyond. With the ability to work proactively, flexibly and independently, you’ll be an analytical thinker with good financial and budget management skills.
You’ll also need to be proactive and organised, committed to putting the people of West London first at all times. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the seven boroughs to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.
