Health and Safety Coordinator – Norfolk

Zest4Talent are excited to be recruiting for an established and expanding company who design and manufacture products within the construction industry. You will be based at their offices near Dereham and will also oversee the Health and Safety at their offices on the outskirts of London. You will be offered a competitive salary of £30-35k dependant on your experience.,

The successful candidate will have experience coordinating health and safety in the workspace and ideally overseeing more than one site. You will have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. You will be a critical thinker and possess problem solving skills. Health and safety of internal staff will be the forefront of everything you do. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a CRM System are imperative

The Health and Safety Coordinator key objectives will be:

• To set up and establish health and safety documentation and procedures to be utilised across 2 sites.
• Ensure quality checks are documented to ensure traceability
• Oversee all operating procedures and document and file
• Be responsible for internal fire door regulations
• Liaise with external health and safety consultants
• Manage the booking of all Health and Safety requirements such as forklift training and forklift servicing for the warehouse team
• Monitor all health and safety supervision in the workshop ensuring compliance
• Coordinate all fire checks and ensure regular fire drills to ensure staff safety on both sites
• Monitor health and safety budget and liaise with management team on issues that may arise
