West Mercia’s Police and Crime Commissioner, John Campion, is seeking to recruit motivated and experienced Assistant Policy Officers to support in a number of key policy areas. One of these areas is an innovative new approach to tackling the crime and harm associated with drugs in West Mercia as part of HM Government’s 10 year strategy – “From harm to hope”.

These roles will pivotal in terms of partnership working and policy development, as well as making a difference to the communities of West Mercia.

The successful candidates will be required to support the Senior Policy Officers, in delivering agreed outcomes through effective use of resources and strong support with delivery plans, alongside policy support for the wider Policy team.

This role is commutable from Kidderminster, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford, Malvern, Ledbury, Evesham, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Bewdley, Droitwich Spa and Pershore and is just off junction 6 of the M5.
