Role Overview
Are you looking to further your career in finance?
The Assistant Accountant joins a dedicated team that provides key financial support for Bupa Care Services. Based in Bupa Kirkstall Forge office, you will be part of a high calibre supportive finance team. You will assist with day-to-day and monthly financial reporting.
What you’ll do:

To support the fixed asset process, including updating of the asset manager, on a monthly basis

To prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and allocation and adjustment journals to an agreed timetable, covering both expense and income reporting lines.

To ensure that all month end processes are completed to schedule to ensure the delivery of the monthly reporting packs to our numerous stakeholders to timetable.

To reconcile control accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and communicating any potential risks and opportunities.
What you’ll bring:

The successful candidate is likely to be a part qualified accountant or experienced in finance looking to start / continue their professional qualifications

Advanced PC skills / Excel

Ability to build relationships across business

Proactive mindset and ambitious

Proven ability to work under pressure and meet stretching and tight deadlines.
