The Role
As an Assistant Psychologist, your role will include:
  • To work under the clinical supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological support to the neuro-rehabilitation programme at Thomas Edward Mitton House, Browns Wood and North Paddock Court.
  • Behavioural monitoring with observations, data gathering and analysis
  • Producing behavioural and emotional progress reports for review meetings
  • Supporting individual service users with weekly meetings and specific activities
We're looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:
  • Upper Second Class Honors Degree (2:1) or higher in psychology or equivalent
  • Eligibility for BPS (British Psychological Society) graduate registration
  • Ability to present and teach others
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Experience of working with adults with complex disabilities
