Job Title: Business Development Manager (North of England)

Business Development Manager Job Overview:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our field sales team in the North of England where you’ll be responsible for visiting prospects within our Independent Landlord portfolio to promote the benefits of hosting a locker on their premises.

This is an exciting time to join InPost’s UK Network team; as the business is rapidly growing, the Business Development Manager will play a fundamental role in accelerating the growth of our locker network in key towns and cities over the next 12 months.

Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Use a combination of warm leads, cold calling, and drop-ins to secure new locations for our growing locker network
• Communicate the benefits of hosting a locker and negotiate commercial term
• Survey locations during site visits to determine viable locker location
• Exceed new location target
• Capture accurate pipeline information in our database
• Provide insightful and actionable feedback on market intelligence
• Operate with the highest standards and always represent InPost’s core values

Business Development Manager Key Skills:

• You have a minimum of 12 months sales experience
• You have a proven track record of managing a large pipeline to exceed sales targets
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills
• You have outstanding influencing skills- you have the ability to make people believe in you and the proposition
• You have a go-getter attitude - agile and responsive with the ability to prioritise, juggle multiple opportunities and execute
• You have a growth mindset, with a tirelessly positive attitude, and an appetite for learning and personal development
• You live and breathe outstanding customer service and quality of delivery
• Experience working with CRM systems
