Cleaning Manager Job at Sodexo
A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Cleaning Manager to join our team on a highly prestigious client site in Waltham on the Wolds, Near Melton Mowbray. We are looking for someone to manage the cleaning operation, maximizing the performance of cleaning teams and ensuring the service is operated in line with company standards, policies and procedures and to contractual specifications.
You will be passionate about delivering a high-end cleaning service, with excellent stakeholder and leadership skills.
Your focus will be to effectively manage the Sodexo cleaning team and to ensure that exemplary services are provided across the site. You will deliver operational excellence across all Sodexo cleaning services. Great people management skills will be key to your success as you motivate and lead the team to achieve high performance at all times.
Experience as a strong people manager and cleaning management experience will be ideal for this fantastic opportunity.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage sub-contractors to ensure all areas of cleaning are covered and managed accordingly. Manage team ensuring all HR, training and developments are managed.
- Delegate to and deputise for the Cleaning Team leaders
- Provide cover advice and support for the team out of normal working hours when required
- Complete cleaning operations as per agreed SLA/specification
- Drive BAU across the cleaning contract, and ensure we offer a 5* Service
- Increase cleaning employee engagement across the campus through addressing absence, lateness and HR issues, driving communication and investing time in training team all in line with company policy Improve team efficiency and standards, including innovations and continuous improvement
- To ensure health and safety is given number one priority and all of the team understand their contribution to this

- Experience of the undertaking of all cleaning tasks
- Computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday with flexibility required depending on business needs
