Due to the on-going roll out of 111 across Wales we, at the Welsh Ambulance Service, are now recruiting Registered Dental Nurses at our 111/NHS Direct Wales Clinical Contact Centre based at Thanet House, Swansea.
As a predominantly Out of Hours Service you will be expected to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and Bank Holidays to meet service requirements.
The post holder may be required to work at any of the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust sites/offices in line with service needs. To undertake any other tasks/duties as requested by your line manager.
The post holder must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust policies and procedures in particular Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, Confidentiality and Data protection Act.
Induction training will be full time for 4 weeks, office hours for the first month and then a variable shift pattern until training completes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
