A fantastic opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic Duty Managers to join our team at The award winning Highley Manor wedding venue. The venue specialises in being an exclusive wedding venue. This is a hands-on role.

Inspiring and engaging. As a duty manager, you will show your leadership and interpersonal strengths to optimize the service operations of our venue, and ensure an exceptional guest experience for all our wedding guests.

You will report into the Operations Manager.

The Role:

• To assist in managing all service aspects of our Food & Beverage operation, which includes the service of the main wedding breakfast and main bar operations.
• To lead and develop an energetic workforce, with involvement in recruitment, learning and development, team engagement initiatives and all other people management responsibilities
• To communicate and motivate your team providing day to day leadership and direction

· To take on evening duty management shifts.

• To ensure correct communication between the F&B team and other venue departments.
• To assist the Operations Manager with the beverage stock control at the venue
• To look after the health & safety of our guests and staff

Who are we looking for?

You will need to be proactive and ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations of the business.

This is a hands-on role so you will need to be comfortable with rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with service.

You will thrive in this role if you’re an outgoing person with a real passion for your craft. You’ll need to create a fun and rewarding environment for your team and lead by example.

We need someone with previous experience of working within a busy, events-led operation – exposure to supervisory or management duties is essential. Wine knowledge is advantageous with a passion for food and a genuine desire for providing excellent service to our guests.

Our business is open all day every day so you will need to be flexible with the times you can work.
