Education Liaison and Outreach Officer Do you want to join an award-winning Education Liaison and Outreach team? This position will play a pivotal role in the next phase of Middlesex University's development, supporting the launch of its new 'Knowledge into Action' 2031 strategy and its ambition to provide a greater level of personalised advice and guidance to future students. The role of the Education Liaison Officer is key in establishing new links and partnerships with target institutions, local boroughs, employers and other organisations in order to deliver a portfolio of activities and initiatives that promote Higher Education and employment pathways in innovative and experiential ways. They will lead on and execute robust communication, events and marketing plans in order to enhance the reputation, raise awareness and establish Middlesex University as the university of choice for a targeted group of potential students, their advisors, parents and teachers.

The officer will be responsible for meeting recruitment and outreach targets as required by the Office for students. In addition, this role will lead on our bespoke support package for key partner colleges. To succeed in this role you’ll have a strong working knowledge of the UK education system including an understanding of current recruitment and access challenges facing the UK Higher Education sector. You’ll be adept at building and nurturing relationships, utilising existing networks and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders across various levels of seniority. You’ll have a commercial outlook with strong analytical skills, as well as digital expertise or a willingness to learn. We’re looking for someone who has successfully managed events and projects through to delivery and can demonstrate a target-driven approach. You’ll be a team player who is also able to use your own initiative to achieve results. A willingness to travel to various locations in Greater London as well as occasionally across the wider UK is also essential.
