“An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employer Brand and Attraction Lead to join the Money and Pensions Service to help create and deliver their attraction strategy. You will be key to building solid foundations working alongside our recruitment partners, internal comms and marketing teams, HR and senior leaders across the organisation. From your experience in Employer Branding, you will be able to ensure we are fully showcasing our EVP as well as increasing our social media channels and presence with relevant content that ensures MaPS is an employer of choice for both active and passive candidates.“
Job description
As part of the government’s levelling up agenda MaPS is relocating from its current home in London to Bedford. We see this as a real opportunity to tell our story and doing so attract interest in exciting opportunities to work in MaPS. We are looking for someone who can create an attraction strategy, a compelling Employee Value Proposition and brand to enable MaPS to attract high levels of diverse talent. The Employer Brand and Attraction Lead will be responsible for the following areas;
- To develop the employer brand – creating a compelling reason why people would want to work for our organisation.
- To always ensure our EVP is presented in way that showcases what we have to offer to our colleagues.
- Utilise social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor to best effect.
- To develop and execute strategies on content management, social and digital marketing and be familiar with optimisation to maximise reach in the market.
- Work with colleagues across MaPS to craft compelling content and deploy it across a range of marketing channels.
- Ensure we have the ability to analyse the success of campaigns and enable data driven decisions.
- Ensure we have a golden thread of inclusion in all we do in attracting talent.
Person specification
You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience in;
- Delivering employer brand strategies within a complex large organisation.
- Creating and authoring content for different purposes and audiences, fully understanding the VoC.
- Developing multimedia assets to highlight and promote the benefits of the organisation – including video’s and social assets e.g advertorials, infographics, on site content, emailable brochures etc
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the jobs landscape and how to market across a range of demographics.
- Able to ensure that inclusion is at the heart of our attraction and recruitment strategy.
- Can demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, have the ability to work with both individuals and organisation, internally and externally.
- Being organised and structured in how you approach tasks, with meticulous attention to detail, but able to quickly adapt to change.
- Working to your own initiative and to work with ambiguity.
- Being a genuine Completer-Finisher (you are driven by a desire to close every action you undertake to a high standard).
