Salary: Scale 4 - £21,837 - £24,156 (Pro Rata for part time staff) (Plus allowances in relation to the shift pattern)

We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Enquiry Desk Officer based within Cleveland Police. This role could be right for you if you are experienced and confident in dealing with members of the public, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working an environment which can be varied and demanding.
As an Enquiry Desk Officer you will provide the initial contact and support for visitors to police stations and Police Officers working within these offices across the Cleveland Police area. You will have the important role of supporting the Operational Support service in delivering a customer focused response to enquiries across a range of access channels.
We are seeking candidates who have excellent customer service skills. There will be occasions where you will need to deal with conflict and conflict resolution so you must have experience in these areas. We are looking for individuals who are flexible in their approach to work, with the ability to work as part of a team but also be able to work upon own initiative.

This role has a shift pattern which involves working from 8am to 8pm, including week days and weekends on a rotational basis.
