We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join our Evans Halshaw PSAV Franchise to play an integral part in helping to support and make key financial decisions in a cluster of locations for the Franchise.
Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner you will be instrumental in ensuring that commercial financial decisions are made thoroughly through financial information and analysis to ensure the best decision is always made for the franchise to improve profitability and growth.
As well as working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partners and Heads of Business to make the best-informed decisions, you must have the ability to challenge stakeholders, partner and think broadly to encourage different views and ways of thinking, So the ability to influence and provoke healthy debate at senior level is absolutely critical to the success of the Finance Business Partner.
This is a Hybrid role, with an expectation to travel to the dealerships up to 3 days per week (these are located across the country: Wolverhampton, Banbury, Kettering, Plymouth, Bedford, Portsmouth & Wales).
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:
- Driving a high-performance management culture across the business to optimise business profitability
- Translating complex financial data and problem statements into meaningful insights to help inform decision making and future actions to non-financial stakeholders
- Understanding and interpreting monthly financial reports to support the performance of the division to aid performance
- Supporting the development of business plans and forecasts, enabling strategic decision-making insights by analysing financial performance, spotting market trends and being able to bring this data to life and tell a story to influence and impact decisions
- Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
- Monitor working capital working closely with the Heads of Business within the dealerships, as well as the Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC)
Requirements to be successful in the role of Finance Business Partner:
- Fully qualified accountant with 2/3 years post qualification experience (ACA,ACCA or CIMA) or alternatively qualified by experience
- Wide experience of business partnering non-financial teams and influencing key decision makers, as well as driving and making your own sound commercial decisions
- Experience working as an Accountant, ready for the next step
- Commercially focused mindset with an in depth understanding of business drivers and outcomes in a similar environment
- Robust knowledge of financial reporting and management accounting and the ability to interpret and offer actions for improvement of performance
- Full UK Driving Licence
