About the department
Due to continued growth and success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Change Management to join our Bromborough HQ. The Head of Change will lead Oh Polly’s change management capability in order to successfully embed a centre of excellence for change across the brand.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Develop and maintain a consolidated roadmap of projects and an associated benefits realisation schedule.
- Ensure that the programme & project management resource and capability within the company is enabled to successfully deliver on key and strategic programmes & projects of work.
- Ensure there is a balanced and prioritised portfolio of developments across operations, finance, technology, and people.
- Track and report on portfolio wide benefits and the associated return on investment against the annual investment plan
- Create a culture of successful project delivery, building a team with a reputation across the organisation for delivering tangible change as required by the business.
- Embed and develop best practice programme and project management approaches and methodologies both across the change function and the organisation.
- Work with specialists across different departments, external SMEs and 3rd party suppliers to ensure that programmes and projects have access to the resources required to enable successful delivery, including package software selection and managing consulting and integration partners.
- Advise the business teams on appropriate building or buying of additional capacity and capability as required to support timely delivery of projects.
- Support project sponsors and owners across the business with workstream and benefits definition and with consistent decision support data (e.g. progress, risks & issues, budget, quality criteria)
Requirements
- Experience in managing and delivering tangible change across a business focussed, strategic portfolio within the retail, FMCG or professional services sector
- Build and manage a high performing team of programme and project managers and to create a sense of community amongst the project’s teams
- Previous line management experience would be an advantage.
- The ability to manage and influence a complex stakeholder landscape (including c-suite level) in order to successfully deliver sustainable change that is fit for purpose across the business.
- An approach that recognises the criticality of change management and benefits management in successfully delivering sustainable business change.
- A good understanding of change management and business analysis, ensuring you have a robust understanding of what the end-to-end delivery lifecycle requires in order to deliver on business outcomes and the needs of the customer.
- Ability to use clear judgement when setting standards appropriate to the size, scale and experience within Oh Polly and to continually iterate as the business matures.
