One of our main clients has an urgent requirement for a Head of Talent to be based out of their offices in Warrington on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting engineering and utilities company.
As Head of Talent you will developing the strategies to recruit and develop and ensure we have an external and internal talent pipeline to plan for succession across our many diverse roles.
You will be responsible for the overall strategy and management of an internal recruitment team, manage the L&D team and be responsible for creating a high performing culture throughout the department.
My client would be keen to speak to candidates with the following expertise:
- CIPD qualified (desirable)
- Experience managing an internal recruitment team and showing a track record of continuous improvement and high performance multiple disciplines, i.e. engineering, finance, IT and specialist roles at all levels of seniority.
- Experience developing recruitment strategy, process and approach with key business stakeholders
- Experience in designing from concept recruitment processes and policies that are fit for purpose and deliver results
- Experience of workforce planning
- Experience of devising and delivering a talent and succession strategy and plan that is aligned to company objectives.
- Experience of leading and developing a Learning and Development team to bridge skills gaps
- Good understanding of diversity & inclusion and societal impacts and how to translate these into the workplace.
