Health and Safety Manager Job at The Victoria Hotel
As a Health and Safety Manager, you will liaise with the Area Director, Hotel Management and Head Office to ensure a compliant and safe environment for our guests and staff.

What will I be doing?
As a Health and Safety Manager with Brend Hotels, you will be responsible for The Victoria & Belmont Hotels, ensuring the health and safety of our guests, colleagues and visitors.
Specifically, you will also be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: (please note, this list may not be exhaustive):
Audit and Monitor the Kitchens to ensure Food Safety standards are being met, investigate and follow through with any allergen or food safety claims .
Report on general Health and Safety on site.
Record, assess and investigate all accident and first aid reports.
Work closely with Hotel Managers to ensure safe practise at all times.
Make sure Fire Safety standards are met and maintained including all fire equipment. Carry out and record routine safety checks such as emergency lighting checks.
Pro-actively work to improve standards through coaching, training and role modelling.
Carry out Risk Assessments on equipment and individuals where required.
Manage contractors procedures on site.
Ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Previous experience within a similar environment is essential. A recognised Health and Safety qualification (such as NEBOSH) would be desirable and preferable.
