Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award winning Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.

The Role:

Swinton Park requires an honest and reliable Night Porter. Main responsibilities of the role include:

• 
  Ensuring the cleaning schedule is on track and the hotel is spotless for the following day.
• Carrying out security walk rounds throughout the night to ensure the hotel is safe and secure, checking all fire exits and safety equipment and ensuring lighting is at an adequate level whilst being conscious of our energy saving goals.
• Providing an in room dining service to all guests, preparing food and serving it as per the in room dining procedures.
• Being capable and confident in the check-in and check-out procedures and able to perform these tasks to the same standards as the day team.
• Understanding hotel policies and procedures, ensuing that the correct process is followed.
• Working up to 40 hours per week, 10 hour shifts 4 days on 3 days off (part-time candidates will be considered)

Candidates should:

• Have experience in a front of house environment
• Be guest focused
• Be highly motivated with a can-do attitude
• Be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Be focused on providing excellent customer service

Package description

• Quarterly service charge up to £400.00
