Human Resources Officer Job at New Collaborative Learning Trust
Salary: £27,579 - £30,314 FTE (actual salary £24,514 - £26,946) depending on experience.
A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.
Contract Type: Full time, 40 weeks per year (term-time + 2)

New Collaborative Learning Trust is a chain of highly successful sixth form colleges and a secondary academy. Our aim is to provide a first-class HR service to support our academies to be employers of choice and deliver outstanding education to young people in their areas.
As Human Resources Officer, you will be based primarily at Wingfield Academy in Rotherham with part of the working week to be spent at the Trust Headquarters in Normanton. You will provide a comprehensive range of HR support, such as:
- Recruitment of staff for the academy
- Administering the new starter process
- Maintaining the staff database (Single Central Record)
- Drawing up contracts of employment for all new staff
- Maintaining employee records
- Employee relations
You may also contribute to Trust-wide HR work, including leading on specific allocated areas of HR work across the whole Trust, including processes, systems, improvements and training.
To be considered for this role you will need experience of using Microsoft Excel and Word to an intermediate level. Good attention to detail, a customer focused approach, and good problem solving skills are equally important, as is an understanding of how to handle sensitive information of a highly confidential nature. You will also be willing to undertake further training relevant to the post.
