So, who are we looking for?

Our management trainees come from diverse backgrounds with a variety of skillsets and qualifications, finding themselves in a range of technical and non-technical roles. Whether you have previous technical experience or not, the scheme can be tailored to what you want to get out of it.
Whether you are looking for a career change or you’re fresh out of university, we could have the perfect opportunity for you! For starters, there are no set requirements for your degree grade. Don’t have a degree or any technical skills? No problem.
This scheme is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to start a career within IT.

What do you get in return?

During your first year of the scheme, you get experience of each department in IT from disciplines such as Cyber Security, Software Development to Project Management and Digital Communications; you will also get really involved in creating and managing events for a chosen charity to help support the local community and build your network across the business.
In your second year you choose a specialism to follow and get really stuck into your future career path; there is also opportunity to apply for trainee of the year and commit and deliver a special project that really improves the lives of others with the chance to win Trainee of the year for your efforts!
During both years you will be supported with regular 1-2-1’s and reviews to help you get what you want out of the scheme and ensure you’re staying on track!
At Willmott Dixon, we encourage our trainees to get involved with community investment activities. By becoming a STEM Ambassador, you can also sign up for activities and help promote and raise awareness of STEM careers.
