Kitchen Porter/Assistant Job at THE WYCH ELM KINGSTON
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to work closely with our Sous Chef to prepare meals from start to finish. The ideal candidate will display a strong work ethic and commitment to quality, and will be able to keep the kitchen environment clean and efficient. Kitchen Porters must focus on developing strong work-ethic skills, they must be able to maintain a clear head under pressure, and they must be able to communicate clearly with the Sous Chef and the rest of the kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Know the ingredients of food and kitchen equipment.
- Be able to prepare food according to customers' wants.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness.
- To know how guests of the hotel.
- Understanding the rules of the hotel.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Know English, speak with guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: From £11.00 per hour
