This is the job

As Leadership and Development Advisor will support the management, design and delivery of our Leadership programmes across the AA.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in leadership development theories and design, with a proven track record of implementing key programmes and projects. You will manage group wide leadership development programmes from design to implementation.

What will I be doing?

  • Design and delivery our AA Leadership development programmes across the group (e.g. leadership curriculum, mentoring, team leader development) personally and through third party suppliers
  • Management of overall Learning curriculum including attendance numbers, cancellations, feedback and evaluation
  • Review and maintenance of our first line manager programme and people leader induction programmes, ensuring best in class and designed and delivered with a digitally led mindset
  • Supporting the rollout of any group wide behaviour and leadership workshops, including any design
  • Responsible for the delivery of a mentoring platform / process for the group
  • Regularly review feedback and make required amends and changes
  • Use knowledge and understanding of L&D theory to support content design for both internally written and externally sourced leadership content
  • Research the leadership market to ensure the best possible solution for our business needs
  • Regularly update our internal ‘L&D Hub’, ensuring relevant content is uploaded, content refreshed and kept up to date and relevant for all
  • Onboard third-party suppliers, induction of facilitation team(s), and regularly monitoring performance
  • Implement and track internal measures and action plans for any improvements that are required moving forward

What do I need?

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in leadership development theories and concepts
  • Experience in managing, designing and facilitating leadership development interventions and programmes
  • Strong record of successful delivery of programmes from conception through to evaluation
  • Strong ability to assess and understand leadership capability and gaps
  • Strong and effective stakeholder management skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven experience of tracking evaluating and evidencing ROI for leadership interventions
  • Experience of managing multiple training providers and escalating contractual obligations where necessary
