This crucial role is responsible for designing and delivering development programmes (management & early careers), and the delivery of the talent cycle across Whitbread.
This role is great for someone with a pragmatic approach, who is passionate about ensuring our people receive maximum opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
Inside the role:
  • Deliver the talent and performance cycle across Whitbread, including annual performance review cy-cle, calibration activities, succession planning and development outputs
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the new Talent Cycle and succession plan
  • Work collaboratively with other centre of excellence to design and implement an early careers pro-gramme pilot
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to create and launch development programmes for Line Managers
  • Continue the development of the Support Centre learning offer and deliver the plan
  • Support Line Managers with the ongoing development of their teams and ensure they have access to the right tools and learning programmes
  • Review the online Learning Hub and ensure it has a breadth of learning from self-development through to management and business skills
  • Review and update support centre induction
We’re open to you:
  • You have a background working within learning & development and sound knowledge of L&D models
  • Ability to build out and deliver development programmes for support centres
  • Experience designing early careers programmes from scratch through to implementation
  • Are passionate about talent and seeing people reach their potential
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to identify gaps in current programmes and challenge the status quo
