An exciting opportunity exists to join a growing team in a care home set in tranquil surroundings in Woolton hill Newbury. You would join a team focused on providing quality care and have an opportunity to grow with the company and bring joy to the lives of our residents.

Shifts are 8am-4pm Saturday and Sunday and one day during the week

The role involves providing stimulating activities scheduled by the senior activities coordinator and supporting residents with visiting of relatives. The role also involves providing personal care to residents either while out in the community or within the home. if required housekeeping duties may also be allocated.

Purpose of the Role

• To be part of the team whose aims are to ensure that residents’ needs are met on a daily basis and provide them with a safe and comfortable environment.
• To help promote as much personal and physical independence and choice as possible in the activities undertaken by the residents within the Care Home.
• To help maintain a stimulating and attractive environment for all residents

Responsibilities and Duties

• To assist in the direct care provision of all aspects of the service users needs, which may include amongst others, personal care, medication administration, mobility, continence promotion, assistance with feeding, updating documentation, etc.
• Assist in activities within the Home.
• support with visiting
• To attend appropriate training programmes/courses as available, which will further existing knowledge.
