This fantastic sole charge Nanny role has become available to work for a relaxed and down-to-earth family where both parents work full time. Mum works from home and travels occasionally; Dad works at home a few days a week and otherwise will commute into London. They have three children, who are seven, five and two. They are moving out of London to Stoke Row , Near Henley in Oxfordshire over the summer and their current nanny is staying in London, so they are looking for someone fun, energetic, warm and sensitive to be a part of our family. They would like the right Nanny to work with them as part of a team to provide a loving, nurturing and fun childhood for the children whilst helping facilitate their development. The older two will be going to school that is about a 30 minute drive away. The youngest will go to nursery a few mornings a week and this role is long term . There is a Nanny car to use and the days required are Monday -Friday 7.15am-6.30pm , salary is circa £43,000 gross per annum to £45,000 gross per annum and is negotiable for the right Nanny . Currently , they do a variety of activities, such as swimming, Hartbeeps, Playball and tennis and they will look to find similar classes in the local area once they have settled in. They would like the right Nanny to engage the children with activities and play dates and help them to make both local and school friends. The eldest has a great imagination and enjoys playing with others or on her own, making up activities (particularly crafts) and adventures with her toys, Lego, and fairy friends; she also loves stories. The five year old also loves stories, and he is very keen on playing with Lego and Hot Wheels. He loves being outside and running around, playing football or being on the trampoline. The youngest is very chatty and busy. She likes playing with the toy kitchen, in particular serving ice creams! She too is a fan of stories and will happily sit on your lap for an hour or more if you read to her. Ideally you will cook appropriate balanced and nutritious meals for them, do their washing and keep their rooms and playroom tidy. Also, part of the role would be to keep on top of all the school requirements, such as things the children need to take in on different days. Nanny would also need to take them to any doctors and health visitor appointments . They do not expect the Nanny to clean the children’s bedrooms and bathroom and have a cleaner for this purpose. If the right Nanny were to be live in, the bedroom would be on the first floor in the main house alongside the rest of the family. It is a large room with an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and will have a double bed. They can provide a television if required. It is possible that the family will ask Nanny to go on holiday with them, destinations that we may include France and Barbados. Training and Qualifications needed for this job: Childcare qualifications essential for this role ( Chiltern or Norland desirable !)
