To provide logistical support in all activities within the Logistics department to achieve and exceed both internal and external customer expectations
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receiving, stocking, picking, packing and despatching
- Liaise with Carriers to arrange collections for customer deliveries
- Review and understand stock information to ensure accuracy of the data and correct allocation of stock to customer orders
- Stock integrity (stock checking and cycle counts)
- Dealing with Carriers and Delivery Drivers whilst on-site, efficiently and safely
- Transacting all material movements and data accurately
- Observing and maintaining all Health and Safety standards in line with company policy
- Support the Company by carrying out any other duties assigned by your Manager
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- A proven track record within a busy and dynamic Logistics environment, with experience in export/import and order processing (essential)
- Intermediate PC literacy and experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- First-class attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- To have a valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Truck license (Preferred)
- Full, clean, driving license
- Self-motivated with a keen sense of enthusiasm
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Use of initiative
- Be able to work as a team within Logistics and with other departments
- Flexibility to vary approach and take on new tasks/responsibilities
- Proactive approach
