Manufacturing Technician
This role is permanent position, working full time hours and may include shift working.
Role & Responsibilities
Hand assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques
Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process
Following detailed assembly instructions
Microwave testing using network analysers
Following detailed test instructions
Fault finding on microwave products
Carrying out visual quality checks and packing
Labelling of finished parts
Ability to identify manufacturing improvements
Personal Qualities & Skills
Understanding of microwave signals / electrical circuitry
Previous Skills working within an Assembly and, or Manufacturing environment
Excellent attention to detail
Proven competence in a similar role
Demonstrate excellent dexterity and hand to eye co-ordination
Work as part of a team
Good time keeping
Must be flexible
Show Initiative
Qualifications
Qualification in Microwave or Electronics
Confident using windows based PC programmes
Proven record in fine detail assembly
Proven record in microwave and electronic product testing
