This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated workforce that will provide rapid COVID & Flu testing.
This will be a 24/7 service so candidates will be required to participate in a shift rota that includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Additional payment will be given for antisocial hours in line with NHS AFC regulations.
These posts have been created to provide a dedicated team that will test samples for COVID & Flu testing using small rapid test analysers. This will enable us to support patient flow through the hospital and provide staff testing to ensure patient safety whilst enabling staff to get back to work.
Full training will be given and there are many transferable skills that will be gained for future laboratory roles so these are a brilliant opportunity for those interested in a career in Pathology.
Previous laboratory experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
These posts are funded for 6 months but that may be extended. Other laboratory opportunities may also arise.
