(£38,607 - £40,614)

We are recruiting NQSWs to join our vibrant social work teams across Children’s Services particularly in Social Work with Families and Children with Disabilities teams.

There has never been a greater focus on children’s services in Croydon than right now, making it an exciting place to develop your social work career. Croydon Council Early Help and Children’s Services have been rated as good by Ofsted and we are looking for talented NQSWs to be part of our journey in making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families.

All NQSWs will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills through our highly supportive and reflective Assessed & Supported Year in Employment Programme (ASYE). Our ASYE Offer in Croydon is a comprehensive programme based on feedback from our recent cohorts which offers dedicated ASYE Assessors and an ASYE Programme Lead who provide 1.1 ASYE reflective supervision, monthly learning sets and ASYE reflective group supervision. The ASYE programme offers guided support with completing the ASYE portfolio in order to meet the requirements for Skills for Care. In addition NQSWs can expect a monthly dedicated study day to focus on their portfolio completion, protected caseloads and support from a vibrant ASYE team that sits within the Croydon Early Help and Children Social Care Academy for support. Due to the current COVID19 situation and social distancing guideline, we may need to deliver the early stages of the programme virtually.
