Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with a specialist Private Hospital located in the East End of London, who are currently in search for an Outpatient Nurse their close-knit team. This well-established hospital offers a full range of services including Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Cosmetics, Women’s Health, Physiotherapy, Endoscopy and Imaging, as well as having an excellent Pre-Assessment and Outpatient Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the best healthcare organisations in the UK!
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a key member of the nursing team and will be responsible for the assessment of health needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care. You will have a number of clinical duties including ensuring patient files are accurate and complete prior to consultations, acting as a chaperone, taking bloods, wound care, assisting during clinics, conducting basic observations and general nursing care, as well as assisting Consultants with clinical procedures and examinations.
This is a full-time role consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which has a highly desirable shift pattern working days only between the hours of 8am-8pm, Monday-Friday. The Outpatients Department is open on reduced hours on Saturdays, so the occasional Saturday morning may be required to meet the needs of the business.
In order to be successful with this opportunity, you must be registered with the NMC and have the right to work in the UK.

Requirements
- Qualified RGN
- NMC registration
- Previous experience within an outpatient setting is preferred
- Ability to work autonomously
- Confident in phlebotomy
- Passion for high quality patient care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High sense of personal responsibilities
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong experience working within NHS or Private sector
