We are recruiting for a highly successful accountancy firm based in Beaconsfield.

This role is for someone with experience of running client payroll and has previously worked in a practice, ideally with knowledge of IRIS software.

This role is paying up to £35k and is hybrid.

The successful candidate will run payrolls for clients and take care of payroll related queries whilst also dealing with the HMRC and Pension Provider on behalf of the clients on payroll related issues.

Duties include

• Make sure client payrolls are run on time, complying with legislation, i.e. PAYE, AE and GDPR
• Make sure information is submitted to the HMRC by the deadline dates, monthly and annually, according to our records
• Make sure Auto Enrolment is carried out where applicable and Pension reporting is provided as required by the client
• Make sure client understand laws relating to payroll
• Answer client queries relating to payroll issues.

Skills/Experience

• A payroll foundation level qualification or about 2 years working ideally for a payroll bureau preferably within an Accountancy firm
• Flexible
• Calm
• Knowledge of PAYE
• Good Word and Excel skills
• Knowledge of Payroll Professional, Star or Iris software
