PCB Test Technician

Our client, a subcontract electronics manufacturer, is looking for a PCB Test Technician to join their existing team. This is a great opportunity to join a local company manufacturing electronic components that are used globally in a wide range of industries!

As a PCB Test Technician, you will be required to carry out various duties such as:

• Responsible for testing and diagnostics to component level of assemblies (PCBA, cables and box build)
• To communicate any test related problems to the Production Manager or Team Leader & to communicate with customers on test related problems if required by Management
• To perform test of any work presented by team leaders or direct from operators.
• To assist Quality Control manager with calibration as required
• To carry out any other duties relevant to the position.

The following qualifications and experience are required:

• Testing PCBA’s
• Using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, ATE Equipment
• Attention to detail
• Analytical
• Working under own initiative

Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30 and Friday 07:30–12:30.

The pay for this role is £11.50 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience.

Candidates will be required to take a trade test prior as part of the interview process.
