We are supporting a secondary school in Barking and Dagenham that is looking for a PE Teacher to join their school in September as Teacher of PE/ Head of Year.

About the role

You’ll be working as a Teacher of PE in an inner city school. The school opened in 2016 and has opened its 6th form for the first time this September! You will be teaching Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You must have experience teaching BTEC Sports to KS5 pupils.

The school has a huge focus on pastoral support and has created a behaviour policy built on mutual respect. You will be joining a motivated staffing team that has pupil and staff well-being at the heart of what they do.

• Tracking pupil progress and identifying pupils that might require additional intervention support

About you

• A qualified PE Teacher
• Demonstrable history of teaching the subject to a high standard to KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Enthusiasm and creativity when delivering lessons to students of all ages and abilities
• Strong background in pastoral support
• Passion for your subject
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
