This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic team supporting cancer services. Our aim is to improve the diagnosis and treatment and care outcomes for cancer patients in the Southport & Ormskirk area.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced programme manager with cancer operational experience to support the Directorate Manager deliver the Rapid Diagnostic Programme. Working within the cancer services team, you will manage a transformation programme that is looking to change how cancer diagnostics are performed across trust.
The RDS programme supports pathways to diagnose cancer quicker, improve patient experience, enable Providers to achieve the Faster Diagnosis Standard (FDS) and will support the diagnosis of non-cancer conditions more efficiently.
You will develop excellent relationships with clinical and administrative leadership and multi-disciplinary teams across the region to enable delivery of programmes of work that improve time to diagnosis for patients.
This is a 12 month fixed term post in the interim
