2 x Research Assistants (P/T fixed term contract for 8 months)
The Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University are looking for 2 Research Assistants to contribute to research activity, including participant recruitment and data collection, within the Templeton Foundation funded project ‘From the Heart: Testing the Efficacy of Heart-Centered Contemplation’. The role requires testing religious participants (Christian and Islamic) using psychophysiological, psychological, and social measures. Training and support will be given by line manager. The testing of participants will take place on campus at Coventry University, throughout the day and evening and will be dependant on participant availability (testing times range from 8am to 10pm).
Ideal candidates should have experience in research techniques and sensitivity to testing religious participants.
This is a part-time post that requires flexible working hours. On average, it is expected that during the testing period, the RA will work a full week.
The post will start as soon as possible and has a duration of 8 months.
Interviews will take place on 10th January 2023.
