The face of Hallmark for all visitors to our head office and distribution centres, you’ll secure the sites alongside general duties such as health and safety, reception, CCTV and fire alarm duties. You’ll be the first point of contact for all visitors and deliveries, alongside actioning site tasks with colleagues across the business to help support a safe, positive working environment for all employees and visitors in keeping with Hallmarks standards of business conduct and ways of working.

Your Responsibilities

• 
  Ensure the safety and integrity of the buildings and those onsite, including employees, contractors and visitors, through varying security, monitoring and protective services and procedures
• Conduct, lead and supervise site monitoring through CCTV and physical patrols
• Manage Fire Alarm, sprinkler activation and other building systems
• General reception and visitor log duties including managing email requests and phone calls
• Document and update policies and procedures related to your core duties on request
• Proactively contribute to continuously improving operations at any Hallmark site
• Internal and External liaison e.g. response to alarms and disturbances; periodic non-invasive searches; Lead contact for Emergency Services, Alcohol and Drugs Testing on request
• First point of contact for First Aid

To be successful you will need:

• 
  Previous experience in a similar role within an in-house security team for a distribution centre and/or office building
• A SIA qualification
• A CCTV qualification, would be a significant advantage
• First aid qualification(s), would be a significant advantage
• A commitment to continuous personal development relevant to your role
• Experience of prioritising tasks and work
• To be a team player with experience of keeping relevant stakeholders up to date
• Experience of dual/multi-site security responsibilities would be a significant advantage
• Knowledge and/or experience of taking part in reporting and auditing, would be a significant advantage
• Previous experience of executing policies such as Health and Safety, security etc
• To be comfortable and productive in a lone working environment
• To be organised and have experience of following actions through to delivery
• High standards of customer service, embodying the Hallmark brand, values and ways of working
• Excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving, organisation skills
• To be IT, computer and digitally literate, comfortable using and maintaining equipment

Based at our Dawson Lane, Bradford or Brighouse site, both close to key motorway and public transport links you’ll be able to take advantage of:
