About this position

You will work in our Cyber R&D team and use your knowledge of systems (Kernel, OS) level development to develop our Agent architecture. Our Agent is responsible as our cyber client, for the extraction and management of our customer's data.

About you

You’re not expected to have all of the following skills, but they will be useful in performing your job.

We are looking for someone with:

• Systems-level programming across Windows, Linux or Mac platforms
• Kernel layer development
• Experience in networking.
• Experience of software development in any language.
• Familiarity with mentoring and technical leadership.
• Outstanding technical ability.
• Proficiency in English.

At Next DLP we default to programming using Go, but also use a wide variety of different languages and frameworks. It's not expected that you would be familiar with Go (or any of the other languages we use) but you should be enthusiastic and willing to learn new things.

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

• Software development in Go, C, C++, Java, C# or Swift.
• Kernel and device driver development for Windows, Linux, or Mac.
• Systems Analytics; Dtrace, eBPF
• Observability technologies, logging and metrics.
• Security principles including PKI, certificates and cryptography.
